We combine technology and logistics to provide a white-glove service for consumers -- step by step delivery tracking, SMS customer support and boxless, printerless doorstep returns. The Role:

Returnmates is seeking an Operations Associate to play a key role in operating our San Francisco Bay Area market. You'll be responsible for assisting the Ops Manager in the day to day operations of our San Francisco Bar Area Market. This will include managing a diverse team of warehouse leads and associates, engaging and training our driver partners, maintaining data integrity through data collection and entry, and utilizing business intelligence software to drive operations insights . Your day-to-day efforts will support aggressive growth and expansion at a rapidly growing, early-stage startup.

The candidate is expected to work on-site in San Francisco daily.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist the Seattle team in executing on and leading daily operations to achieve high-quality, on-time deliveries for RM customers
  • Make recommendations for daily operations processes and procedures improvement
  • Manage daily supply of Driver Partners and help improve the driver experience through strong training and relationship building
  • Perform data entry and collection to maintain high operational data integrity
  • Provide excellent customer service and driver support through intimate knowledge of the day-to-day systems, tools, processes, and activities
  • Complete clerical and administrative tasks as needed
  • Manage employee schedules and rosters including processing of leave and sick time
  • Cooperate and collaborate cross-functionally to improve business operations
  • Provide feedback on company policies and procedures

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, consulting, or a high-growth startup experience
  • Experience in managing projects/programs through to completion
  • Strong business acumen
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive qualities with the willingness to learn
  • Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision

  • Strong analytical skills; proficient in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce and the online returns process

  • Agile - able to jump from priority to priority and gain inspiration from a fast-paced environment
