Job Title: Golf Course Advisor
Pay: $12.00/hr
Location: Kissimmee, FL
FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Job Responsibilities
- Observe on-course pace of play and coordinate pace of play with starter and other rangers.
- Assist golfers with information that may help them play the course such as rules, yardage markers, location of rest stations, areas to avoid with carts, etc.
- Remind golfers to add sand to divots, repair ball marks, and rake sand traps.
- Monitor on-course activities and report all infractions to Starter.
- Replace empty sand bottles and replenish as necessary.
- Monitor cleanliness of receptacles as well as facilities, daily and as necessary.
- Monitor on-course comfort stations for cleanliness.
- Notify the appropriate department of facility conditions as necessary.
- Monitor and maintain golf course markings including hazard stakes, out of bounds stakes, etc.
- Report any problems to the golf shop.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, location of emergency equipment, and reporting procedures.
- Provide emergency assistance to golfers and other guests as necessary.
- Assist golf shop staff in preparing for and running tournaments, clinics and other special events.
- Assist starter on the tee as well as on the course with the flow of play and starting times.
- Police the grounds by picking up garbage, trash and fallen debris on the course and around the buildings and parking lots.
- Perform other duties as appropriate.
- Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor.
- Adhere to Reunion Resort and Golf Club company procedures and policies
- Completing any other task/duties assigned
Qualifications
- Position requires flexibility in scheduling including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Must have attention to detail, strong ability to multi-task, and time-management skills
- Golf experience of at least 1 year is required. Private club experience is a plus.
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
- Must be able to sit, stand, and walk for long periods of time. Must be able to complete repetitive motions throughout shift such as reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, etc.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Exposure to various types of Florida weather conditions including: sunshine, heat, and rain.
- Must be able to lift, push, carry, and pull at least 50lbs.
