What a day in the life of a Machine Operator at REV looks like :
- Safely operate production machinery
- Reading and interpreting detailed drawings and dimension styles
- Interface with engineering to program machines, set up, and run
- Load parts in the machine, cycle the machine, and detect malfunctions in the operation of the machine
- Stay current with TPM and basic mechanical adjustments on all equipment as needed
Required education, skills, and experience to be successful :
- Preferred 1-2 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment
- Preferred high school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements
- Ability to use common hand tools and power tools such as drills, and screw guns
- Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Successful completion of the drug and background screening
- Any CNC background a plus
- Basic computer skills a must
- Organization and safety a must
- Must be willing to work in dusty and damp / wet conditions daily
