Job Summary:
The position will join a team focused on growing REV’s business by identifying, pursuing and acquiring development projects and operating assets in North America. Working closely with the executive leadership team, this person will support origination activities, assessment of new markets, and corporate development efforts more broadly.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and maintain models and internal investment materials for M&A transactions and corporate development activities
- Support due diligence activities, including working with third party specialists, advisors and internal stakeholders and interfacing with senior management to complete transactions
- Assist in evaluating greenfield development projects
- Actively communicate and present marketing intelligence and opportunities to internal stakeholders, including executive management
- Build a network and manage relationships with industry stakeholders (developers, private equity, industry peers, etc.)
- Evaluate and analyze market information, identify targets; develop outreach strategies to secure actionable transaction opportunities
- Developing and maintaining prospect target database
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-5 years of finance, business development or M&A experience (experience in energy industry desired)
- Strong understanding of deal origination, relationship development and commercial transaction structuring
- Transaction Experience
- Proficiency with financial modeling and presentation skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Additional Detail:
- Location: Houston or New York City
- Reports to: VP of Corporate Development
- Salary Range is $100K to $150K which may be subject to additional compensation structure. Pay will be based on multiple variables including, but not limited to, work experience, education, certifications and work location. Salary range may also be subject to modification in future.
