Responsibilities:
Position Summary: Works under the direct supervision of the Clinic Supervising Staff and Practitioners. Will assist with daily clinic patient care (i.e. patient flow, taking patient’s history and vitals, assisting with diagnostic testing, maintenance of medical supplies, etc.)
Essential Functions:
- Prepare patients for examinations. Responsible for taking accurate patient histories, vital signs and assessments of patient medications and complaints
- Assist Providers with in-office procedures …… .
- Prepare treatment rooms for examinations; keeping the rooms neat and clean. Prepare and maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization
- Perform various types of treatments as directed
- Use independent judgment when triaging and processing patient telephone calls according to Clinic’s guidelines
- Authorize drug refills and provide prescription information to pharmacies
- Perform phlebotomy skills, collect additional specimens, and prepare specimens for transport to lab.
- Review patient’s charts and records for completeness prior to clinic visits
- Schedule appointments for patients as necessary.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
