ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Supporting the control environment for accounts receivables to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Prepare and organize documentation necessary to collect payment
Interface with inside and outside auditors to share information and coordinate periodic reviews.
Responsible for review of accounting transactions in support of the receivables process, including establishing and supporting account reconciliations.
Review weekly/monthly aging reports and address accounts as assigned.
Follow-up to ensure all actions are completed in order for payment to be made.
Continuously work to improve A/R processes and A/R Reporting through technology or quality improvements with approval from A/R Director.
Professionally handles all incoming calls from customers including returning the calls and expediting requests in a timely manner.
Sustains the collection activities by collaborating with the various team members such as Billing, Cash Control and Patient Contact to eliminate all obstacles creating disputes with our customers.
Lead all special projects as time and/or capabilities allow.
Identify causes for non-payment and communicate problems and recommend corrective action to department heads.
Must be team player and able to work with a very dynamic team and a lot of change.
Work with financial analyst to review financial status of various projects.
Manage and track all issues and maintain the issues log.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience may be exchanged for education on a one to one year basis.
EXPERIENCE
4 years of facility Business Office/CBO experience required
Competent with MS Word, Excel, Visio, PPT
Proficient in managing and updating the SharePoint Site
Must be able to focus, work diligently and be a self-starter that does not require step by step guidance.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to estimate timeframes and meet projected deadlines
Ability to work with executive, managerial and staff level positions
Advanced problem solving abilities (Six Sigma Black Belt) preferred
