JOB SUMMARY
The Revenue Management Analyst is responsible for carrying out quantitative analysis to measure and maximize FIFCO USA’s contribution margin. This person will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing pricing and promotion requests and aiding in the analysis of FIFCO USA’s pricing and profitability. The role of the Revenue Management Analyst is to be the authority on pricing and price promotions, ensure that FIFCO USA is receiving adequate return on investment, and assist with the improvement of FIFCO USA’s profit margin. A direct output will include providing guidance on proper pricing of FIFCO USA products by the outside sales team to maximize FIFCO USA’s overall contribution margin.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform the review of pricing and price promotion requests, considering their impact on the business and adherence to FIFCO USA’s Revenue Management Strategy
  • Perform pre and post analysis of price promotion and rebate spends to ensure an adequate return on investment is achieved. Present recommendations for adjustments to strategy
  • Act as ongoing resource to the sales organization for pricing and volume analysis and expertise; including margin and mix management
  • Perform the review of pricing and price promotion requests, considering their impact on the business and adherence to FIFCO USA’s Revenue Management Strategy
  • Perform pre and post analysis of price promotion and rebate spends to ensure an adequate return on investment is achieved. Present recommendations for adjustments to strategy
  • Calculate and report upon revenue and contribution of products and geographies and identify gaps to plan or areas for improvement
  • Analyze wholesaler margins to uncover opportunities for FIFCO USA to gain additional margin, and work with sales team to develop strategies for adjusting, including break-even volume analyses
  • Utilize IRI and internal data to uncover volume opportunities by analyzing optimal price gaps to competition, as well as efficient use of promotional dollars to increase margins. Present opportunities to sales and marketing teams and report on results of changes
  • Act as ongoing resource to the sales organization for pricing and volume analysis and expertise; including margin and mix management
  • Analyze and report on business performance related to margin, pricing, and volume decisions, including but not limited to SKU mix, Margin and COGS
  • Assist Sales Organizations by interfacing with wholesalers for price/margin negotiation and agreement
  • Develop, maintain, and constantly improve the pricing and price promotion process
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis as necessary

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; preferred disciplines include Finance, Economics, or Marketing
  • 3-5 years of experience in quantitative analysis, preferably within the beer or consumer packaged goods industry
  • Pricing and/or Revenue Management background strongly preferred as well as Sales Finance experience
  • Experience presenting to groups of 10 or more people
  • Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office and Business Intelligence Tools
  • Advanced analytical skills, judgement, and keen attention to detail
