What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Bartender position at Revival Food Hall?
As the Lead Bartender at Revival Food Hall you will be responsible for overseeing both the smooth operation of our bar and execution of various events, ensuring exceptional experiences for our guests. Your role will involve leadership in supervising both the bar team and event staff, maintaining high standards of service, and coordinating logistics to ensure seamless events.
Team Leadership and Staff Supervision
- Supervise and mentor both the bar staff and event staff, providing guidance and support to ensure cohesive and efficient teams.
- Work with bar staff to meet/exceed budgeted sales goals and reduce labor costs and costs of goods sold while maintaining service standards
- and quality of the product.
- Communicate drink recipes , names changes or pricing modifications to the bar staff and event staff.
- Assist in the production of syrups, juices and infusions
- Ensure day to day operations (checklists, prep sheets, ordering sheets, etc.) are completed.
- Monitor the consistency and quality of beverages served in the bar, ensuring they meet established standards.
- Implement inventory control measures in both bar and event settings to minimize waste and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Assist with inventory counts monthly.
- Enforce hygiene and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment for staff and guests.
- Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure that all aspects of both the bar and event meet quality standards and address any issues promptly.
Customer Service
- Work with staff to keep a high standard of service at the bar at all times.
- Uphold a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in both the bar and event settings
- Ensure exceptional customer experiences.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism and customer-centric approach.
- Interact with clients and guests professionally, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
Event Coordination
- Work closely with event planners and Revival managers.
- Coordinate logistics, including setup, breakdown, and overall event flow, to ensure smooth and well-executed experiences.
- Conduct pre-event briefings to ensure all staff members are well-informed about event details, roles, and expectations.
Skills
- Previous experience in bartending and event coordination or hospitality, with proven leadership responsibilities.
- Excellent knowledge of beverage mixing, garnishing, and presentation, along with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments and deliver exceptional service.
