Role Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for maintaining and growing sales revenue with key advertisers while maintaining and cultivating new clients for our multiplatform properties with a focus on innovative and unique solutions.
What You’ll Do:
- Identify, target, develop and secure new business and revenue streams for REVOLT through a variety of platforms including linear TV, Digital/Mobile, and Events
- Develop, maintain and grow high-level client and agency relationships and serve as a trusted consultant
- Maintain a high level of customer service by effectively communicating with clients, executing requests and proactively responding. This includes significant face to face client interaction, presentations and client entertaining opportunities
- Understand, target, pitch and secure custom marketing programs and non-linear platforms
- Prepare and present sales proposals and presentations to advertisers as well as media planners/buyers, and branded content leads
- Generate business plans to define your selling strategies and tactics
- Understand and adapt to REVOLT’s ongoing product, programming and technology developments
- Manage multiple cross-product opportunities and projects
- Maintain a current knowledge of industry news and competitive marketplace conditions
Who You Are:
- B.A. or B.S. Degree
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities
- 5 years of experience including media linear, mobile and/or digital advertising sales with a track record of consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Extensive knowledge of the agency landscape, competition and linear and digital industry trends
- Established relationships within the ad industry
- Experienced in traditional as well as contemporary/online marketing tactics and strategy
- An understanding of non-linear sales and the ability to sell these platforms
- Keen ability to develop concepts to create, incrementally grow and maintain sales revenue by connecting client’s marketing goals with our multi-platform products
- Ability to work well under pressure with deadlines with a strong sense of urgency
- Must be a team player
- Some travel required
- Knowledge of Hip Hop Culture desired
