JOB SUMMARY: The Safety Manager (“SM”) is responsible for Health and Safety throughout each of Revolution’s Installation Offices, Corporate Office locations, and job sites.
Revolution has approximately 150 field employees and 100 office personnel. The SM will be managing day‐to‐day Safety on job sites, in warehouses, and offices but also drive Safety Culture and develop and implement new polices and procedures.
The SM will frequently visit facilities and ongoing projects.
Duties and Resonsibilities:
Conducts safety meetings, toolbox talks, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement follow up assessments.
Plans, implements, and conducts preventative care, safety, and compliance training programs.
Plans, implements, manages, and maintains comprehensive environmental safety & health programs on premises or at project site locations.
Provides Operations Teams with guidance on health and safety and confirms project site, fulfills industry, local, state, and federal guidelines, and regulations.
Collaborates with management to develop an Emergency Action Plan and serve as primary contact for project site injury and incident notification, investigation, and case management.
Maintains a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence.
Guarantees that all work is performed in accordance with approved manuals, internal policies and procedures, contract documents, and good engineering practices.
Participates in team meetings and provides regular on‐site presence.
Develops and implements employee Safety Trainings in written, online, or in person format.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
Completes other tasks as required or assigned by the Executive and Compliance Teams.
MINIMUM EDUCTION, SKILLS, & EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma, Construction Management, or related discipline. Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Health, Engineering, or related discipline preferred Minimum 4 years management level safety profession experience preferred Knowledge of both Residential and Commercial solar installation preferred but not required In depth knowledge of local OSHA regulations in the following states; WA, IL, IA, MI, WI, IN, TX,
