Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs and patient information.
- Assisting with patient mobility and transfers.
- Providing emotional support and companionship to patients.
- Following care plans and protocols set by healthcare professionals.
- Reporting any changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
- Keeping patient rooms clean and organized.
- Assisting with medical procedures and treatments as needed.
- Current certification as a State Tested Nursing Aide (STNA) in the state of OH.
- Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.
- Physical ability to lift and move patients.
- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and procedures.
