Materials Data Analyst - Hybrid
Responsibilities
Collect and compile data from various sources, including SAP, spreadsheets, and other relevant systems.
Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of information.Generate routine and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to manufacturing operations.
Develop visualizations, charts, and graphs to present data findings in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create dashboards and data visualizations that support decision-making processes.Analyze historical sales data, customer demand patterns, and market trends to support demand forecasting activities.
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements and align demand forecasts with production and procurement planning.
Monitor and evaluate forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments to improve demand planning accuracy.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analysis.
Assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness.
Organize and document data sources, methodologies, and assumptions for future reference.
Assist in the development and implementation of data quality control procedures.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Operations/Supply Chain, or 3 years experience in a related field
Position is onsite and can be modified for hybrid remote 3 days in / 2 out
Qualifications
Onsite availability.
Good prioritization and time management skills.
Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with SAP MRP System a plus.
Strong data analytical skills.
Proficiency in Excel (minimum 3 years required and ability to make pivot tables and graphs).
Experience with SQL or Python, or Power BI.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and their application in a business context.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not required
