Materials Data Analyst - Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Collect and compile data from various sources, including SAP, spreadsheets, and other relevant systems.

  • Analyze large datasets using statistical techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights.

  • Conduct data cleansing and validation to ensure accuracy and integrity of information.Generate routine and ad-hoc reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics related to manufacturing operations.

  • Develop visualizations, charts, and graphs to present data findings in a clear and concise manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create dashboards and data visualizations that support decision-making processes.Analyze historical sales data, customer demand patterns, and market trends to support demand forecasting activities.

  • Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to understand customer requirements and align demand forecasts with production and procurement planning.

  • Monitor and evaluate forecast accuracy and recommend adjustments to improve demand planning accuracy.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains through data analysis.

  • Assist in the implementation of process improvement initiatives and track their effectiveness.

  • Organize and document data sources, methodologies, and assumptions for future reference.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of data quality control procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Operations/Supply Chain, or 3 years experience in a related field

  • Position is onsite and can be modified for hybrid remote 3 days in / 2 out

Qualifications

  • Onsite availability.

  • Good prioritization and time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with SAP MRP System a plus.

  • Strong data analytical skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel (minimum 3 years required and ability to make pivot tables and graphs).

  • Experience with SQL or Python, or Power BI.

  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis techniques and their application in a business context.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Prior experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred but not required
