Position Summary: Develops and implements customer pricing strategies and by conducting market analysis, competitor analysis, profitability analysis, and revenue simulation models by performing the following duties under general or limited direction.
People or Process Management Responsibility: Varies
Required Skills and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree (B. A. / B. S.) from four-year college or university.
• Proficient in Excel, Access and Outlook.
• Applicant must demonstrate excellent communication skills, quantitative skills and problem solving skills.
This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Accounting background strongly preferred.
• Distribution industry experience is a plus.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
• Responsible for maintaining accurate up-to-date costing/pricing in VIP, Excel and other necessary software.
• Reconciles monthly promotions account.
• Provides pricing reports as necessary for senior pricing and business unit leaders.
• Analyzes promotions and recommends adjustments in strategy as it relates to pricing to ensure maximum profitability and effectiveness.
• Analyze and monitor competitor pricing.
• Conduct presentations of analyses and recommendations to senior leadership and business unit leaders as needed.
Other projects or duties as assigned.
