Position Summary:
This position is responsible for promoting safety programs and services across Coca-Cola throughout the Reyes Family of Businesses. This position is responsible for initiating and implementing safety and prevention programs and coordinating claims management activities and managing/evaluating programs that encourage the Company, Team Members and their families to focus on healthy living and safe work promotion
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Accountable for implementing and delivering results of company’s safety and risk management initiatives.
- Analyze and interpret risk data to identify work with opportunities and injury/collision prevention focus.
- Manage Safety Committee activity/meetings.
- Conduct Safety meetings with key employees and management.
- Conduct risk assessments of facilities and warehouses as well as risk issues identified in the trade.
- Review recommendations to mitigate identified risks with local Safety leader.
- Lead Safety component of New Hire orientation and training.
- Accountable for conducting/execution of safety training for managers, supervisors and employees.
- Conduct training needs assessments and recommend training opportunities.
- Lead local management in the Investigation of workplace injuries and collisions.
- Work with Incident Management Team (IDM/LCM) to aide in managing claims to closure.
- Lead local management and human resources on modified duty assignments and the interactive process at the direction of the IDM/LCM team.
- Coordinate and participate in all Workers’ Compensation and Auto Liability claim reviews
- Participate in weekly management team meetings.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
