Are you looking to build a strong career? Then we have an opportunity for you! We are searching for a Rolling Superintendent to join our team located at our headquarters in Louisville, KY

Your Role:

As a Superintendent in Mills, you will lead, organize, and direct operations to safely fulfill rolling and separating production requirements by ensuring that equipment, scrap, and labor performance objectives are met. This individual will play a key role in instilling a continuous improvement philosophy through the use of statistical process control methodology.

You will have the opportunity to:

• Control production costs and participate in cost reduction projects
• Provide direction and expertise to the rolling staff in implementing improvement projects
• Supervise, train, and develop our employees
• Meet or exceed process, production and quality standards for metal production

Ultimately, you will be a vital part in our company and will continuously monitor and drive improvements for safety, quality, cost reduction, and efficiency.

We need you to have:

• BA/BS degree in Business Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• Experience as a manager or supervisor in a unionized rolling facility
• Understanding of statistical process control tools
• Excellent capabilities in Microsoft Office

Icing on the cake:

• Proficiency in SAP or Oracle
• Effective human relation skills and experience
