Reynolds-Warren Equipment is a family owned heavy equipment distributor in business since 1977. We sell, service, and rent asphalt, concrete, and earth moving equipment throughout the state of Georgia. We are seeking a Yard Manager for our Lake City (Atlanta) location. The Yard Manager is responsible for the overall movement of equipment on and off the yard as well as general yard organization. The Yard Manager will interact with customers to ensure the correct machine is being picked up, coordinate with the service department, and assist the rental department with the check-in and check-our procedures.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Receive every piece of equipment as it comes into yard
- Take monthly yard inventory
- Assist rental department with check-in and check-our procedure
- Train customers how to operate rental equipment
- List / remove inventory on company website
- Assist shop with basic maintenance as needed
- Operate forklift
- Check out equipment as it leaves or is picked up
- Load / unload trucks as needed
- Receive all new inventory, record serial numbers, hour meter readings, engine numbers
- Tag equipment / manage keys
- Keep yard clean and organized. Keep loading dock areas clear
- Inspect equipment and provide written reports as needed
- Assist with stocking parts shelves as needed
What is Required
- Must have a great attitude and outstanding customer service skills
- Must be friendly, outgoing, and customer focused at all times
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift
- Some experience working on or around heavy equipment (forklift does not count)
- Basic computer skills
