Job Summary
We are seeking a Tier 1 Clinical Applications Support Analyst to assist in supporting our operations. Under the direction of the Director of Clinical Software, you will support the users of our clinical applications through planning, documentation, process optimization, training, help desk support, and troubleshooting. This position will provide daily support to our centers with their imaging workflow to ensure efficiency.

Essential Functions
A. Provides clinical software support:
- Provide clinical systems support and assistance to end-users (e.g. radiology technologists, physicians, and analysts) as they encounter issues, have questions, or require assistance in completing their daily work.
- Creates incidents, problems and solutions in ticketing system as appropriate. Monitors ticket queues, responds to incidents, service requests and tasks according to assigned service level, escalating more complex, unresolved issues to the next level of support as appropriate.
- Actively participates in the completion, documentation, and training of all imaging workflows as it pertains to the interaction between the computer information system and radiology technologists.
- Supports end users at multiple locations, including remote.
- May require off-hours and/or on-call support.
- May require some travel for onsite support for Go Lives or special projects
- Critical thinking and decision-making skills, effective time management, able to prioritize, and respond quickly to requests
- Develops, implements, and maintains RIS/PACS policy and procedures collaboratively with the IT Manager and Radiology Director. Ensures system efficiency and security compliance through thoughtful suggestions for improvement.
B. Provides clinical software assessment and implementation activities:
- Assists in project tasks for the department as related to RIS/PACS project planning
- Researches and troubleshoots clinical application issues, documenting the issue and making recommendations to the Clinical Directory as necessary for recurring problems or end user requests.
- Assists in the updates for RIS/PACS policy and procedures that have changed during an upgrade or implementation collaboratively with the lT Manager and Radiology Director
Qualifications
Knowledge
- Knowledge of radiology operations and workflow desired
- Knowledge of RIS/PACS systems desired

Education
- High School diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- Basic computer knowledge
- Familiarity with specific radiology information applications such as PACS, Fluency, and Radiology information Systems preferred.
- Knowledge of radiology department workflow and various imaging modalities a plus.
