What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at RGA Reinsurance Company?
RGA is seeking an Administrative Assistance who can work under immediate supervision and perform varied routine and confidential administrative and legal support activities.
Responsibilities- Performs general administrative and support duties for the Global Legal Services (GLS) function, including, but not limited to: preparing correspondence, reports, organizational charts, spreadsheets and presentations; tracking new entities and maintaining the corporate organizational chart; coding and processing invoices from outside law firms; coordinating travel and accommodations; preparing and submitting travel and business expense reports for GLS associates and independent members of the RGA board of directors; coordinating/scheduling meetings and conference calls; and other general support matters for GLS.
- Performs department records management duties (electronic and paper), including organizing, retrieval, archiving, storage and destruction.
- Handles department office supplies and office equipment maintenance matters (e.g., copier/printers in need of service).
- Provides support on special projects, as needed.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent experience
- Minimum of three years secretary and administrative experience
Preferred:
- College degree (Associate's or BA/BS); Secretarial Program/Business School
Courses; experience in a law firm or corporate legal function
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

The general pay range for this position is $42K - $51K per year. Base pay varies depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and market location. In addition, RGA provides an annual bonus plan that includes all roles and some positions are eligible for participation in our long-term equity incentive plan.
