What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance position at RHDD?
Part Time Position- 20 hours a week. May be combined with another position.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma with at least 2 years experience working in routine repair and maintenance.
- Valid Ohio Driver's License with less than 6 points.
- Ability to operate agency vehicles.
- Ability to pass state required background checks.
Essential Job Duties:
Routine Repair and maintenance of assigned RHDD properties including but not limited to:
- Aid in the maintenance of facilities including but not limited to:
- Painting
- Dry Wall Repairs
- Basic Plumbing/Electrical
- Buffing/Waxing Floors
- Carpentry
- Ensure good repair of all major appliances in agency properties.
- Maintain grounds of agency properties including but not limited to:
- Mowing grass
- Landscaping
- Snow removal
- Sidewalks are safe and clear of ice and snow in winter
- Maintain Fire Safety systems including monthly inspections of fire extinguishers.
- Arranges service of fire extinguishers as needed.
- Responsible for routine repair and maintenance of RHDD properties.
- Travel to other RHDD properties may be required when needed.
