Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnosis no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
The Revenue Cycle Billing Specialist performs reporting and analysis of the revenue cycle for monitoring, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. The Billing Specialist assists internal teams with billing audits and questions related to accounts receivable, denials, customer service, and other relevant billing questions. This role acts as a liaison with other parties to resolve billing inquiries and aids in ensuring department goals are met.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Responsible for analysis of charges, payments, adjustments, and denials, and other financial reports, related outcomes, and trends.
- Assists with key processes:
- Maintaining the integrity of the CDM (charge description master).
- Maintaining the Fee Schedule and ensuring accuracy.
- Contract variance analysis and reporting.
- Group Billing accounts and contract management.
- Analyzing Billing Accounts Receivable and performing follow-up activities.
- Analyze refund and adjustment requests from third party billing company for approval.
- Performs ad hoc consultative research and coordination on current issues of Revenue Cycle.
- During research and analysis activities, identify barriers and make recommendations on corrective action measures in partnership with leadership to ensure positive outcomes and maximizing revenue.
- Work with third party billing company on billing customer service escalations.
- Work with internal and third-party team members to reconcile various activities in the revenue cycle.
- Perform provider to payer credentialing
- Maintain excellent customer service, safeguarding confidentiality of sensitive patient and financial information at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.

- 3 years Revenue Cycle Billing experience preferred.
Education Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
Compensation for this role is between $24.42 – $33.41 per hour depending on qualifications.
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is a reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis and this position will remain open until filled.
