As an Actuarial Manager at Ricci & Associates, you will lead a team of actuaries to provide in-depth financial analysis and risk management insights to support strategic business decisions. You will play a pivotal role in managing actuarial processes, developing models, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will guide the development of risk assessments, pricing models, and forecasting techniques that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of actuaries, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Develop, refine, and implement actuarial models for risk assessment, pricing, and forecasting.
  • Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, financial risks, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with senior management to provide actionable insights that support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure all actuarial work complies with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, translating complex actuarial data into clear, actionable information.
  • Oversee the development of pricing models and ensure accurate calculations of premiums and reserves.
  • Mentor and train junior actuaries, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
  • Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements in actuarial science.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) or similar professional designation.
  • Proven experience in an actuarial role, with at least 3-5 years of managerial experience.
  • Strong proficiency in actuarial software, data analysis tools, and statistical modeling techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex actuarial concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced knowledge of risk management practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience in financial modeling, pricing strategies, and reserve calculations.
