We are looking for a Tree Climber - skilled in tree removal, tree trimming, and pruning. We are looking to fill a full-time position with 30-40 hours in slow months and 40-50 in the busy season. We offer competitive pay according to experience and 7.5% Gross sales bonuses offered, once the daily quota is met.

Qualifications:
- Someone who is a team player, good attitude, hard worker, good communication skills while climbing.
- Knows proper safety.
- Has experience with rigging and knots needed for the work site.
- Able to multitask: 2 years of work experience.
Necessary Skills/Exp:
- Tree Climbing w/gear - 2yrs.
- Leading a crew- 2yrs.
- Working with a chipper - 2yrs.
- Ropes and Tree Rigging - 2yrs.
- Tree Felling - 2yrs.
- Safe Tree Climbing (3 Point Contact)- 2yrs.
We are a small Tree Service that opened up in 2021 and business is doubling every year. We have picked up a contractor position for the city of
Anchorage, but most of our work is residential.
Compensation:
- Pay- Based on experience. 250-350 p/day
- There are no taxes taken from your pay. You are responsible for your own taxes (1099).
Working Hours:
- Typical Tree Care industry 7-6 pm and weekend work available.
- Work Hours are flexible w/ weekend options.
Equipment: You can use your own climbing gear or use mine. Will be responsible for all damages or loss to my climbing gear though (if it applies, which never has yet).
I am the owner of Rice And Company. I have over 13 years of experience as a hazardous tree climber and owned a tree service for over 10 years. I am very down-to-earth and easy to work with. I can teach you just about anything you may not already know.
Application Process:
- Phone interview/pre-screen - recap resume and skillet along with experience.
- Schedule a day to come in and go over equipment and have them do a trial day run showing their working skillet and experience.
- Drug Screen.
- Sign contracting documents and begin working.
