Job Description Perform all required preventative maintenance. Perform repairs on the machinery in the shipping department. Monitor the machinery and dust systems.
Job Duties. Other duties may be assigned. Responsible for food safety by following HACCP and Food Safety policies/procedures. Responsible for plant safety by observing persons entering your work area, asking if you can assist them, and reporting unauthorized persons to your supervisor. Attend training as required or approved by supervisor.

One year certificate from college or technical school; or High School Diploma or GED.

Regular work schedule is M-F 7a-3p with some extended daily hours and weekend work possible.
Start, stop, load, set and adjust automated bag sewing machines; insure product type, shipping materials and pack counts are correct and all required markings and labels are in place and accurate. When necessary, operates standard sewing machines in addition to, or in place of, automated machines.
Ability to work standing up for 2-3 hours at a time, lift/move heavy weights (up to 110#) for scale checks every 20-30 minutes.
