Position

Delivery Driver & Installer

Brief Description

Drivers are responsible for loading and securing their load, communicating with the customer, set up and installation of equipment such as tables, chairs, tents, etc.

Tasks

• Loading and unloading rental orders for delivery
• Operating delivery vehicles, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Following delivery schedules and updating the Warehouse Supervisor on any changes or delays
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of delivery vehicles, and equipment
• Reporting any vehicle, or equipment issues to the Supervisor
• Communicating with clients regarding delivery details and ensuring orders are delivered as requested
• Performing preventative maintenance on delivery vehicles, trailers, and equipment as assigned
• Following Workplace Health and Safety guidelines and reporting any unsafe conditions to the Supervisor
• Adhering to deadlines in a professional and organized manner

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs comfortably and be physically active for 8 hours
• Class C license is mandatory, experience in box trucks is required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
• Self-motivated and task-oriented
• Ability to handle high stress situations in a calm and effective manner
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends if necessary.
• Must have excellent hygiene (Clean cut, no body odor, clean work uniform)

Offered Schedules

Part time - Monday-Friday (4 days a week)

Full time - Monday-Friday with alternating weekends (5 days a week)

Weekend - Saturday-Sunday (12-20 hours a weekend on average)
