The Nursing Home Administrator at Ridgeview Healther Center is responsible for assisting the Executive Director in the overall administration of The Glen at Scripps Ranch community, with specific responsibility for the Health Center. They also handle special projects for the Owners and the Executive Director. In the Executive Director's absence, the Administrator assumes responsibility for all Community operations.
The Glen at Scripps Ranch is a Continuing Care Retirement Community located in Scripps Ranch (San Diego), CA. The community features 400 Independent Living; Ridgeview accommodates 45 Skilled Nursing beds, 38 Assisted Living units and 20 Memory Care- Assisted Living units.
Responsibilities:
- Assists the Executive Director in maintaining licensure and certification of the Community; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Maintains current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
- Maintains a positive relationship with representatives of government agencies who survey and inspect the Community.
- Promotes and maintains a working relationship with the Community health delivery system.
- Conducts health center physical inspections; perform evaluations for state board of health.
- Ensures that corporate compliance and HIPAA directives are implemented and monitored.
What we are looking for:
- The technical knowledge required is best obtained through a BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area.
- A minimum of two to three years of management experience in health care or life care community environment is required.
- An active Nursing Home Administrator license in California - THIS IS A REQUIREMENT.
- RCFE License required or ability to get licensed within 6 months
- Some background in financial management, including budget preparation, cash flow management, and analysis of financial reports.
- A thorough understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the Community.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with a variety of publics, including residents, Owners, community groups, government agencies, etc.
Compensation for this role is base salary of approximately $150,000 annually plus a 65% bonus potential. Full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k with company match, PTO, Flex holidays and more!
