55 MHP COMMUNITY PARK MANAGER
Ridgewood Mobile Home Park, located in Venice, FL, is seeking an experienced park manager. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years previous experience in property management, a keen ability to distill data to key observations and actionable recommendations, and the perfect blend of personal qualities for this relationship-based business. The park manager will report directly to the park owner and will be responsible for the overall management of this 260 unit 55 community. Primary functions will include the following:
- Manage the financial performance of the community by overseeing rents, collections, delinquency, occupancies, and expenditures
- Foster and lead office and maintenance team
- Physically inspect the interior and exterior of the community’s buildings and common areas on a regular basis; make recommendations for repairs, replacements or improvements
- Manage capital projects, service providers, and contracts
- Assess market conditions and comparable properties via trade publications, professional organizations, etc.; provide market comps annually
- Build and maintain a positive relationship with residents, community HOA, and municipalities
- Oversee the set up of new mobile homes
- Manage MHP resales in the community
- Ensure all supervised employees conduct business in accordance with company policies and procedures, Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other applicable laws

- Generalist mindset with strong analytical and problem solving, multi-tasking skills and ability to act decisively in an entrepreneurial setting, yet in a disciplined manner, either independently or as a part of a team
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to develop, train, and motivate others; strong interpersonal skills
- Creativity and strong attention to detail – especially with capital projects and improvements
- Strong computer skills; competent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with property management software; preferably Yardi
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
