What You’ll Do
Perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but not limited to):
- Assist with transfers to and from wheelchair as well as to and from bed
- Incontinent Care
- Personal hygiene (assisting with bathing and showering)
- Med Reminders
- Dressing/Grooming
- Preparation of meals and snacks according to instructions
- Performs homemaking activities which include (but are not limited to) : vacuuming, dusting, sweeping/mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom

What Ideal Candidates Will Have:
- High school graduate or G.E.D
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.
- Must have previous dementia experience
- Six months experience preferred as a Personal Care Assistant in healthcare (in homes or facilities.)
- Successful completion of a state approved Nurse Aide or Personal Care Assistant courses preferred.
- Pass a motor vehicle check, background check, and drug screen.
- The ability to bend, scoop, stretch, climb stairs, and lift 50 pounds
