Main Duties & Responsibilities
Primary Job Role
Develops and implements strategic initiatives for recruiting diverse talent in a multi-site organization. Partners with management to forecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants. Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, educational institutions, armed forces, employment agencies, recruiters, media, Internet sites, social media etc.
Manages full cycle recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals across all levels within multiple business units. This includes posting and managing status of open positions using the company hiring management system. This requires regular communication with local and branch managers and HR Liaisons.
Works closely with hiring managers to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process and to ensure timeliness of recruitment process. Works with hiring managers and interviewing teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
Develops and conducts training programs for managers designed to improve recruiting and hiring efficiencies and reduce turnover.
Tracks and reports key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity. Maintains adequate applicant and hiring records to meet company Affirmative Action Plan requirements. This includes the ability to generate accurate historical applicant and hiring reports.
Manages the Caterpillar Think Big program including recruitment, testing, interviewing, on-boarding, mentor selection and training.
Manages the Ring Power Apprentice program including recruitment, testing, interviewing, selection and training of mentors, progress reports,
mentor bonuses, graduation and disciplinary issues.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Formal Education Associate Degree or certification equivalent in a related field of study
Experience 5-6 years
Required / Credentials
Able to easily and effectively comprehend written material and communicate orally and in writing with employees and customers.
Must have knowledge of employment regulations with the DOL, EEOC and OFCCP.
Must have experience on mapping and sourcing resumes from all sources.
Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Teams.
Overnight travel on occasion.
Not Required but Highly Desired Criteria
2 -4 year experience in a technical or related field preferred. Knowledge of Caterpillar equipment and machine systems a bonus.
Bachelor’s Degree from a four year college or university or related equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with iCIMS.
Some experience working with curriculums and/or training modules.
Updating of Knowledge
Job requirements frequently change requiring re-training once or more per year.
