What are the responsibilities and job description for the Audit - Billing Specialist position at Ringo?
We are seeking an Audit Specialist to assist in the day-to-day vendor invoices of the Client. This role requires the performance of a variety of accounting and financial tasks, including ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial data. The position reports to the Business Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Transactions and Reporting:
- Process Vendor Invoices in VMS Technology for Vendor AP.
- Audits, Reconciles, Prepare and process invoices for time, and expense with detailed receipts.
- Process T&E reports through VMS Technology for client billing.
- Prepare and review weekly consolidated billing file with Business Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of client audit and CBI reports.
- Generate financial reports for management
Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate and organized audit records and documentation on One Drive.
- Assist preparing financial transactions for entry to QuickBooks Online and spreadsheets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Other:
- Research with vendors and customers regarding payment and invoicing inquiries.
- Research to solve payment discrepancies and disputes.
- Assist with internal and external audits by providing requested financial documents and information.
- Perform administrative duties and other tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.
- Familiarity with billing platforms or office products such as: QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel (must be proficient) , CRM and Microsoft Outlook.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in entering financial data required.
- Outstanding math and research skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Previous experience in an accounting or financial role preferred.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of 2-day work hybrid schedule in office (New York Corporate office)
- Remote workers will be available during core business hours of 8am-6pm EST MF when applicable.
- A degree, Accounting or Business Administration major a plus.
PAY AND BENEFITS
- Financial Opportunities – Salary: up to $50,000 annualized or hourly equivalent (based on experience), opportunity for annual bonus based on the financial health of the company.
