Associate Product Manager

Ripple Junction, an industry leader in licensed apparel and accessories, is currently seeking a Product Manager to own product marketing lifecycle management ranging from ideation to fully mature products. This would include identifying a marketing strategy for products, conducting competitor analysis and consumer/market research. Additionally, the role will shape communication and product positioning, identifying product features to highlight. You will also establish marketing campaigns for demand and selecting the appropriate pricing strategy. The successful candidate will also be skilled in data mining, postmortem, and P&L analysis around which products worked, and which did not, based on margins and cost.

This role will work closely with Product Development, eCommerce and Sales as well as the entire Marketing team. The candidate will have a sharp business mind as a natural born leader, you will have a strong talent for product coordination, cross functional collaboration, and delegation.

This position will be located in our West Chester, OH office

Day in the Life:
  • Collect inputs from various parties to layout and execute our go to market product strategy, establishing a clear product vision based on multiple inputs.
  • Working closely with sales and development to define the Channel Strategy including pricing and assortment
  • Execute Consumer and retailer research to guide product decisions and knowledge.
  • Owns total product lifecycle from inception to sunset.
  • Utilize consumer research to understand the market and specific customer requirements.
  • Identify growth opportunities by determining what categories to be in and why.
  • Ongoing complete understanding of our competitors and a complete competitive assessment.
  • Research and monitor trends
  • Own the merchandising plan.
  • Collect and analyze data that drive insights to understand, and revise plans as needed.
  • Lead recaps and reporting for various programs. Measure ROI and report back to the team.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that solve for key opportunities / challenges across markets.
  • Lead internal team and stakeholder meetings, providing relevant actionable reporting.
  • Manage and optimize program and vendor resources, including budget management.
  • Build and maintain various project timelines and ensure all deliverables are met across agency partners, internal stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
Must Haves
  • College Degree in a related field like Marketing or Business Management
  • 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • At least 3 years of experience at a manager level
  • Program management background
  • Must be located in the greater Cincinnati area.
