Position Summary

The Agency Support Coordinator supports Producers, Account Executives, and Account Managers by processing work associated with customer insurance needs, such as issuing certificates of insurance, ID cards, data entry, invoicing, policy processing, and other tasks. The Agency Support Coordinator will work on both personal and commercial coverages.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Issues certificates of insurance, evidence of property, and auto ID cards
  • Assists with preparation of proposals, renewals, and other documents for clients (policy binders, folders, etc.)
  • Enters client and policy information into agency management system
  • Processes policy change requests from start to finish - working with carriers, following up with clients, confirmations, billing, and ensuring accuracy of data updated in agency management system
  • Coordinates agency-bill invoicing with accounting department
  • Downloads carrier files into agency management system
  • Runs and reviews daily activity reporting
  • Organizes and prepares information for quoting and summaries of insurance
  • General office duties and answering phones and answering general client questions on policy information and how to file claims

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams
  • Strong attention to detail and well-organized
  • Enjoys working with others - employees and clients
  • Ability to work independently
  • High School Diploma
  • Background check

Preferred Skills (not required)

  • · Experience in property and casualty insurance
  • · Experience working in Applied EPIC agency management system
  • · Property and Casualty License

Other Details:

Compensation: Hourly or Salaried arrangement available $35K - $50K annually with growth opportunities

Regular Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
