What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director (ISE & Housing) position at Rise Services, LLC?

The Director of Programs is an ambassador for the agency through his/her cultivation efforts in the community working with various clients, families, community leaders, other agencies and foundations. This position oversees supported employment programs and our workplace assistance program.
- Work with the Vice President to establish program direction for client services and adherence to agency’s philosophy of service delivery
- Administer operational aspects of program including execution of long- and short-term goals and plans
- Work to increase our capacity to include hiring new staff.
- Provide culturally specific, trauma-informed, and evidence-informed interventions for our clients.
- Maintain a case load of 20 billable hours per week. This will decrease as your position changes over time.
- Oversee and provide supervision to the agency’s programs including the supervision of Job Coach Supervisors.
- Provide guidance and support to other direct service staff.
- Work with the CEO and Vice Presidents to provide strategic planning, implementation management, and ongoing evaluation of programs and services.
- In partnership with Direct Services Program Management Team, provide guidance to direct service staff members to ensure appropriate interventions with clients and maintain the agency’s mission and vision
- Provide employee training and ongoing weekly individual supervision to direct services staff and/or job coach supervisor to ensure appropriate interventions with clients and ensure staff compliance with grant requirements
- Assist with maintaining a three-year CARF accreditation
- This position will supervise job coach supervisors and span on the eastern side of Virginia and Maryland. This will require in-person meetings with job coach supervisors and with clients.
- Maintain client files
- Complete DARS/DORS authorizations and ensure accuracy and timeliness of all reports
- Onboarding new employees for program/client specific orientation
- Ensure accuracy in notes and reports for billing
- Complete progress notes audit for accuracy and detail
- Facilitate and oversee the day-to-day operations of assigned programs
- Work with job coach supervisors to ensure clients have coverage.
- Respond and follow up to concerns expressed by individuals’ parent(s) and or guardian(s), support coordinator, staff, or other mental health care professionals
- Review all related documentation submitted by staff which relates to individual care, attendance, tardiness, incident reports and all other pertinent information to ensure its’ meeting organizational policies and procedures
- Develop constructive solutions to effectively supervise staff when challenges and or obstacles occur
- Interpret and implement instructions according to the administrative policies and procedures
- Adhere to policies and procedures which relates to health and safety to the effectiveness of quality management
- Conduct individual performance reviews, discipline, implement the company’s progressive discipline, and outcomes etc.
- Be available to work with job coach supervisors to help find coverage or to facilitate the person calling out of work if coverage is not available.
- Conduct regular meetings with direct care employees to address administrative and client issues
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $49,000.00 per year
