They are looking to fill a Technical lead position with the focus of the role around mechanical design. You will be working within the company's Research and Development team where you will be designing industrial Gas Turbine components and systems. You will play a vital role in the division where you will have autonomy and decision making over project design, improvement and direction.
The ideal candidate will have multiple years experience designing Industrial Gas Turbine components with advanced working knowledge of CAD and FEA software. The individual must be able to work independently but more importantly must be able to work collaboratively within the team.

The role:
- Designing Industrial Gas Turbine components and systems
- Analzing components to ensure they meet company requirements
- Train and mentor less experienced engineers
- Work independently and collaboratively across different departments for technical support when it is needed
The Person:
- 8 years of experience designing, analzing and manufacturing gas turbine components
- Experience with CAD and FEA software (CREO and ANSYS)
- Working knowledge of sound drafting practices and ANSI Geometric Tolerancing standards
- Bachelors in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
