We are unique in that we create off-the-shelf as well as bespoke training content in multiple formats including eLearning, videos, and video games.

Our training design team leverages content developers, researchers and subject matter experts who can produce high quality finalized projects quickly and effectively, while taking the burden of effort from the client.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

RSM seeks a full-time in-house Unity game developer, with experience developing for desktop, mobile (both Android and iOS), and virtual reality environments. Additional skillsets and software familiarity that would supplement our other training formats such as firebase implementation, motion graphics experience using Adobe After Effects, or marketing and graphic design experience using Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is highly desirable. This is an onsite position at our Warrenton, Virginia office location with a remote rotation (2 days in office 3 days remote).

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, creative problem solver with experience taking a game through all stages of production from design and development, to delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop game content using Unity in a deadline driven environment.
• Implementation of unique gameplay mechanics and animations.
• Create detailed character animations.
• Collaboration with other developers and production team.
• Conversion of desktop games to VR.
• Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Optimization and conversion of desktop games to Android and iOS platforms.
• Provide key milestones during production to track progress.
• Provide accurate estimation of time to complete tasks.
• Assistance with some creative side tasks making use of Adobe After effects and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Assistance with additional creative department tasks such as onsite film shoots and role-playing during scenario training.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• A developed portfolio showcasing previously made games.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A keen eye for detail.
• A team mentality with the ability to take instructions, digest them, ask clarifying questions, and deliver accurate results in a timely manner.
• BFA/BA/MA/BS/MS degree in Game Design, Computer Science, a related degree, or relevant professional experience.
• 3 years’ experience in game development using Unity 5.x or similar.
• 2 years working with Virtual Reality systems.
• 2 years of full stack development for mobile games.
• Proficiency in C# and one or more of the following languages: Javascript, Phyon, ActionScript 3, C , Objective C, Swift, Java, or Lua.
• 2 years working with Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
