This position is responsible for the Service Distribution Product throughout its product lifecycle. The Service Product Manager determines and oversee delivery of the strategy and roadmap for Service to achieve business outcomes and financial objectives. Their responsibilities include coordinating with IT, Arbon, Independents, Opco/Distribution marketing, and financial stakeholders to set priorities, managing new development and operations, and providing direction and oversight to the product team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop a deep understanding of the Arbon and Independent business goals and processes to inform product priorities and improvement recommendations.
- Develop strong relationships and regularly communicate with product stakeholders and customers to shape the product strategy and surface and prioritize needs.
- Manage and build out the skill sets of the product specialist team.
- Lead product strategy, planning, and life cycle management efforts.
- Monitor business and technology trends to inform product strategy and proactively propose new solutions.
- Work with the Director of Product Management to establish product roadmaps and release plans that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes.
- Contribute to translating business requirements into actionable product and technical requirements.
- Continuously monitor and evaluate product performance and proactively champion product improvements.
- Determine internal and contract/external resources and skills required for the product team to deliver on the product roadmap.
- Work with the Scrum team to scope, plan and deliver work, applying established delivery methodologies (e.g., agile/ scrum methods) and best practices (e.g., reusability).
- Proactively identify and resolve blockers to achieve business objectives for the product, including technical and resourcing challenges.
- Ensure alignment and adherence to corporate, financial and IT standards (e.g., architecture, compliance, security).
- Increase adoption and consumption of product capabilities.
- Actively manage change through Change Management best practices.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
Own the Service Distribution Product, which includes ServiceMax, Aquant, SkyLab, Magic and JDE. Also own Service Applications and Tools on mobile devices and in other technologies.
Own Global Service Product initiatives within Rite-Hite Europe, China, South America, Australia, International Independent Representatives, and future acquisitions.
Manage a team that will support, document, and train on the Service Distribution Product and the Global Distribution Service Technology initiatives.
Build and document Change Management processes into the Service Product, including WalkMe training, Coordinator program management for Service, Webinars, Office Hours, and Operations Team meetings.
Required Experience:
- Bachelor’s or MBA (or equivalent years of experience).
- 8 years of product management or related experience.
- Background in Salesforce and ServiceMax is preferred.
- Relationship building and collaboration skills across diverse and matrixed stakeholders and customers.
- Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities.
- Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and independently solving software or business process challenges.
- Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen.
- Strong experience in understanding internal end user needs.
- Demonstrated success in defining and building products.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing.
