Responsibilities
- Professionally answers incoming calls, schedules appointments for service technicians, follows up on calls, resolves customer complaints and customer inquiries
- The position requires above average attention to details, concern for the exact correctness of work, and a strong commitment to tasks being completed on time
- As a Dispatcher, you will effectively coordinate multiple technicians and tasks by performing various coordinating tasks, such as scheduling, calendar management, and communicating with customers and technicians
- Dispatcher is expected to work in a fast-paced environment, managing several tasks at once, and will work closely with internal personnel and leadership
- Know how to establish and maintain customer rapport to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
- Assists technicians with generating quotes and encourages upsales when applicable
- Keeps customers and technicians informed of current work order status: parts or scheduling change needs
- Verify customer invoice has correct pricing included for labor, trip charge, and parts markup and invoice customer via email or post mail
- Collects payment via credit card and enters payment into FieldEdge
- Promotes positive office environment and team collaboration
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Comfortable making outbound calls to follow up with customers and vendors and conduct customer surveys
- Experience at working both independently and in a team-orientated, collaborate environment is essential
- At least two (2) years of Customer Service experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong work ethic
- Works well under pressure and has the ability to follow through with tasks and complete them on time
- Able to multitask and complete tasks in a timely manner
