IT Manager

Description

River Valley Cooperative is looking for an skilled IT Manager to oversee and implement our technology strategy.  River Valley is an agriculture cooperative that leverages innovative technology solutions to support our operation in providing long-term success for our customers and member-owners.

Some of the key responsibilities this role will have are:

• Research, recommend, develop and implement technology strategies, policies, procedures, structure and solutions that support current and future business needs
• Manage server operating systems using Windows Server 2016/2019 along with a broad knowledge of networking hardware including firewall management, managed switches, VPN technology, smart phone, and wireless technologies
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft active directory services, Microsoft SQL database management and reporting services, IIS, server virtualization, and Microsoft group policy infrastructure
• A desire to serve both external and internal clients by focusing effort on meeting the client’s needs, understanding their concerns, and seeking to build trust
• Manage direct reports, which may include hiring, training and development of those individuals

Other qualifications include:

• Bachelors Degree with emphasis/major in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems
• At least 5 years of IT and Supervisory Experience.  Agriculture Technology experience preferred.
• Ability to adapt to multiple software programs; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Valid Driver’s License
