What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner position at Rivercrest Behavioral Health and Wellness?
Rivercrest Behavioral Health & Wellness is a multi-disciplinary private group practice. We are looking for a full-time psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse practitioner to join our team. Our office is located in historic downtown Hermiston. Our current Behavioral Health Department consists of two Clinical Psychologists and a Licensed Professional Counselor who offer Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and two Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. In order to meet the demands of this growing community, we are in need of additional psychiatric services.
We encourage life/work balance and believe in taking care of our providers first. TeleHealth option is available. Great compensation in a supportive office with a full-time receptionist and billing services.
Job Duties Include:
- Perform psychiatric evaluations within prescribed guidelines of a psychiatry
- Prescribe or manage medications or other forms of treatment
- Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient needs.
- Record physical and psychiatric findings and formulate comprehensive care plan
- Coordinate care with other health care professionals
- Maintain records and complete charting within timely manner
- Provide formal and informal case consultation to treatment team members as needed

Qualifications:
- License:
⮚ MD or PMHNP (Required)
⮚ Licensed in Oregon
- TeleHealth experience
- Able to navigate EMR system
