Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate will be responsible for using safe lifting techniques, efficiently sorting, handling, loading, and unloading freight from over-the-road equipment, containers, city trailers, and/or straight trucks. Using hand trucks, pallet jacks, forklifts in the loading and unloading of freight and other job duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Operates all material handling equipment safely including standup forklift

Working with different departments to meet demands of the business

Communicating any issues to the supervisor that can arise from loading and unloading

Keeping up to date with new systems and technology

Performs all job tasks assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Good communication skills

Ability to work well with a team

Proficient in attention to detail

Must be forklift certified
Preferred Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
