What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optician position at Riverview Optical?
Seeking dispensing optician for a full-time OR part-time position. Experience preferred but will train the right candidate.
We are looking for a self-motivated, hard-working team player with a positive attitude to join our growing office. Customer service is key!
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer care
- Educating patients on their corrective lens options and help them make a choice that fits their vision needs as well as lifestyle preferences
- Assisting customers to find well fitting frames
- Placing orders and maintaining inventory
- Dispensing eyeglasses
- Repairing and adjusting eyewear
- Edging lenses
- Certified or licensed candidates are a plus but not required.

Starting pay is $15/hour with a raise once trained.
