Job Summary
Rivia Mind is looking to grow our Psychiatry team. We are looking for a Psychiatrist who enjoys providing quality patient care, clinical supervision and collaboration, whilst continuously leveraging a holistic philosophy of care that incorporates Psychotherapy and Psychopharmacology. This role requires a committed provider who is able to work at least one later shift per or/and have some hours available on Saturday, per week.
If you would like to have a hybrid position, our office is located near Bryant Park in New York City, NY.
Job Responsibilities & Qualifications
Responsibilities
- Tele-health Psychopharmacology and Psychotherapy patient sessions
- Curate comprehensive patient centered treatment plans and provide resources as needed
- Provide clinical guidance and valued input with patients and peers
- Provide services to a diverse demographic of patient with an average caseload of around 50 patients per week
- Sessions are either 25 or 45 minutes - determined based on clinical judgement and treatment plan with approval of the patient
- Majority of sessions are including both Psychotherapy and Medication Management
- Patient Session frequency is usually weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly
- Conduct a weekly office hour for providers to attend for case studies, questions, and support
- Participate in and support routine and ad-hoc clinical-wide meetings
- Engage in available trainings and meetings held at Rivia Mind
- Be an ambassador of Rivia Minds culture through exemplifying our values and working with our mission at the forefront

Qualifications
Required Education Level: Doctorate
Education Details: Earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited school.
Participated in diverse residency placements with involvement in a minimum of Psychiatry, and Primary Care
- Additional residencies appreciated are: Neurology, Internal Medicine, and Obstetrics-gynecology
Licensure/Certification Requirements
- Must be licensed in one of the following : New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Florida or Massachusetts
- Active and in good standing license as a Medical Doctor
- Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine and DEA number
- Board certified in Psychiatry
Additional Qualifications, Skills & Attributes
- One or more years of post-residency clinical work experience in Psychiatry
- Proven experience and desire to support Psychotherapy treatment
- Excellent clinical knowledge and communication skills
- Experience and willingness to supervise our PMHNP providers
- A proactive approach with a collaborative work ethic
- Committed to providing high-quality, accessible health care

- Proficient with utilizing diverse technology platforms and systems (Google Suite, company wide platforms/software and EHR platforms when applicable)
- Intermediate computer skills and technical aptitude required

Compensation & Employment Details
Pay Range: $220,000 to $300,000
Pay Type: Salary
If Applicable - Bonus Terms: $150 bonus per weekly overage of 50 patients standard
Paid out on a quarterly basis

Work Environment: Remote or Hybrid
Work Schedule: Variable - Cumulative 40 hours a week - within our hours of operation, which are M-F: 8am to 8pm, and Saturday 9am to 5 pm
If Hybrid, one day per week on-site is required and it would be the same day of the week (I.e. Every Monday)
Consistent weekly schedule is necessary, but start and end times per day can be different each day of the week. For example, your schedule can be Monday: 9am to 5pm, Tuesday: 11am to 7pm, Wednesday: 8am to 4pm, Thursday: 10am to 6pm, Friday: 8am to 4pm.
Your schedule will be determined by you in partnership with our team, prior to starting the role.
