Category Analyst

Our Category Analyst will be expected to extract data from a variety of information platforms and analyze the data received.  The information gathered will then be translated out of it's original complex form and communicated effectively to other members of the team as well as upper management within the organization and outside partners. 

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Provide “actionable-insights” within the broader Category/Management department.
2. Manage relationships with Data Providers.
3. Drive Organizational Data Usage and Insight Extraction competency for Sales, Marketing, and Broker support partners.
4. Draw relevant data from the primary available resources of data insight.
5. Any other tasks as assigned by the Sales Leadership team.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

1. Strong analytical background and proven ability to convey and present complex information in a constructive and concise manner to high levels of organizational leadership, Field Sales, Broker Partners, and Retailers.  
2. Strong working knowledge of Syndicated Data platforms is required.

1. Strong working knowledge of Data Acquisition and Insights applications is required.
2. Bilingual ability (English/Spanish) is a plus.
3. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office suite.

1. Prior Work Experience:

1. Experience in CPG/Manufacturing, Retailer, Broker, or Data Providers analytics is a plus.
