OVERVIEW*
The Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for finding, recruiting, hiring – and retaining – talented candidates. They're in charge of planning, developing, and implementing an effective Talent Acquisition strategy for Maletis Beverage. This includes helping to build a strong employer brand. They also assist with onboarding and training. They also identify and review key metrics around employee engagement and retention. They work with the HR Manager and the rest of the HR team to deliver world-class service to Maletis employees.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the talent acquisition process, including updating job descriptions, identifying places to advertise, developing partnerships and recruiting pipelines including job fairs, referrals, and direct sourcing, and helping to define ideal candidate skills and competencies.
- Leads employment branding initiatives.
- Plans recruitment and selection process and provides training on these areas to hiring managers.
- Builds strong relationship with hiring managers to understand team needs and any roadblocks those teams are facing around recruitment, engagement, and retention.
- Manage onboarding, including the Onboarding Specialist, and ensure preemployment checks for selected candidates, accurate new hires and updating employee data in ATS and HRIS, and onboarding and new hire orientation.
- Performs analysis on key talent acquisition sources and the return on investment (ROI) for sources; uses metrics to create reports and identify areas for improvement.
- Works with the HR and executive teams to determine current staffing needs and produce forecasts and strategies to meet needs.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in HR, talent acquisition, talent management, and employment law.
- Partner with the executive team on HR and talent strategy, particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning to help maintain Maletis’s reputation as an employer of choice.
- Attends meetings, committees, and other company events.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE*
Must have demonstrated background in talent acquisition, human resources, and/or employment law, with recognized certifications or proven success in these areas preferred. Able to work full-time, mainly within an office environment, and with limited supervision.
Must be proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Word and Excel, with the ability to extract data from multiple sources and analyze. Must be familiar with ATS, and experience in Paycom or similar ATS a plus. Being bilingual is also a strong plus. Must have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and strong attention to detail. Ability to manage confidential information and/or issues using discretion and judgment.
