Remote Medical International is seeking new members for our team to serve as Offshore Paramedics. The successful offshore paramedic will have a can-do, roll up your sleeves attitude and will be responsible for the management and operation of an occupational health clinic providing field medical coverage for seismic vessels. This included providing immediate evaluations for medical needs and training on medical care in austere environments. In addition to providing routine medical services and responding to emergencies the offshore paramedic performs safety checks and evaluations as necessary and enforcing health and safety regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Actively licensed paramedic
- 2 years of experience as an Advanced Life Support (ALS) provider
- Prior experience working offshore, preferably on a seismic vessel
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalent(s)
- Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) or equivalent(s)
- Current BOSIET/HUET or FOET
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Seaman's Book
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Fit for Duty (FFD) clearance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- English fluency
