What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Technician position at RMS?
If you're the right person for this position, you'll have experience installation technology/AV/IT systems and a good understanding of construction/job sites. You'll know the difference between Cat6 and Cat6A, but also how to drill into a floor structure safely and effectively (for running wires, of course). You'll love looking at the new Milwaukee catalog as much as learning about the new Josh.ai software being released.
You must also be a team player, taking instruction from a Site Supervisor [SS] and then being able to lead yourself and Field Technician(s) [FT] safely and effectively through the required series of tasks to complete projects to a high level of quality in accordance with the RMS Vision and Mission Statement. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are an absolute must for this position. We'll be sure to check in with you regularly as you embark on your journey, growing and learning within RMS.
What will you get in return for contributing this much awesomeness? You'll be a part of a fast-growing, reputable, and trustworthy company that values its team. Oh, and you'll receive a very competitive hourly wage, great benefits (including health insurance, an IRA plan, profit sharing, mobile phone reimbursement, and more), and an opportunity to grow and learn.
This is a full-time position with hourly wage and possible overtime as required for the successful completion of projects. 4 years of field experience in the field(s) of technology/AV/data industry is required for this position.
