We are looking for a self-motivative individual who can hit the ground running to help support and grow our local customer base. Knowledge in electrical, hydraulics, and diesel engine will be a key to your success.
$2,500 sign on bonus!

The Job:
Job Detail:
- Primary goals are to provide customer satisfaction and maximize repairs for dealership.
- As a Service Technician you will be responsible for performing equipment repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
- Diagnoses and repairs to specifications.
- Adequately explain technical diagnosis and needed repairs to mechanical and non-mechanical persons which may include employees and customers as required.
- Verify repairs through appropriate means such as testing, checking operation of component, and any other technical procedures to insure completion of the job.
- Document and report any other conditions of vehicle observed during inspection such as any needed safety related maintenance or other areas of concern that may be beneficial to the customer and/or Dealership.
- Maintains an organized and clean bay.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED required. Must have technical aptitude. Technical or trade school degree preferred
Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
- Ensures that a high-quality level of customer service is provided to both external and internal customers.
- Required to continuously improve technical knowledge and skills to maximize quality performance and profitability.
- Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
- Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training programs, schools, and events.
- Establish and maintain a good working relationship with co-workers and other department personnel to reduce conflict and maximize dealership profitability.
- Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Tests vehicles before repairs to verify customers concern and after repairs to verify repairs corrected customers concerns.
- Diagnose cause of any malfunction and perform repairs.
- Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examines assigned equipment to determine if further safety, maintenance or service work is required or recommended.
- Communicates with service manager immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
- Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
- Documents work performed.
- Ensures that customer equipment is kept clean
- Test equipment to ensure quality of repair.
- Performs a prompt, efficient, and timely flow of all paperwork.
- Complies with all current federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Maintains and is accountable for all dealership-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received. Maintains a professional appearance.
- Supervises work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.
Nature and Scope
- Reports directly to the Service Manager
- Performs additional tasks and duties as required.
