Job description
Salary : £12.03 per hour (National Living Wage)
Contract type : Fixed term for 12 weeks (paid work experience)
Hours : 14 hours per week (flexible)
Would you enjoy providing vital administrative support and coordination skills to our volunteer coordinators? Would you like to improve your customer service skills whilst helping those affected by sight loss?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Talk & Support team.
The RNIB is the leading UK's sight loss charity helping blind and partially sighted people thrive.
These groups offer informal, friendly support, and a safe space to many blind and partially sighted people and offers meaningful social contact and helps to reduce isolation and loneliness.
This role could be your first job or your next move to getting back into work after a break. You will have sound IT skills including experience with MS Office - Outlook, Word, and Excel, as well as good attention to detail and solid communication and organisational skills.
The role is part of RNIB's See Work Differently employment initiative for blind and partially sighted people to secure that first rung on the career ladder or who are returning to work following a career break.
This role is funded specifically for candidates who experience sight loss, and we are looking forward to receiving your application, if this applies to you.
