DEXTER INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW:
The purpose of a Dexter internship is to provide students with the opportunity to gain “real life” business acumen within the Magnetics Industry, gain hands-on experience while working on challenging projects, network with professionals, and learn from some of the brightest minds in business.
We are looking for an energetic and passionate Industrial Engineering Intern to work 1st shift part time. (20 hours/week) The internship will provide the right person an opportunity to learn and gain practical experience in areas related to their academic and/or career interests. No fetching coffee here!
What can you expect as an intern at Dexter?
• Work on projects that are related to your areas of interest and study with a high level of autonomy and ownership. These projects are designed to bring value to our business
• Pending performance, the intern may be considered for future internship opportunities as well as full-time employment after graduation
• The intern will be expected to work onsite at our manufacturing facility to collaborate with team members and peers more effectively
What will you work on as an Industrial Engineer at Dexter?
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
• Must be currently enrolled in school and pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and currently be a Junior or Senior
• Intermediate level computer skills in Microsoft office
