Role
The Floor Manager acts as co-owner of the Retail Store Operational Plan and is responsible for insuring that store objectives are met and for insuring that all sales opportunities are maximized by matching the “right associate” to the “right customer”. He/she will participate in training store associates, will address or delegate customer concerns and will maintain a constant awareness of security issues involved in operating a store.
The Floor Manager works closely with the General Manager in all aspects of Store Operations function as well as with all other functional heads to achieve company objectives and is responsible for developing and implementing and effective succession plan as well as for modeling, support and adherence to company values.
Responsibilities
Sales and Maintaining Net Profitability
Must maintain a balance performing store management responsibilities while achieving personal sales goals
Responsible for achieving minimum monthly quotas in sales volume and Net Profitability.
Responsible for applying the selling system as prescribed.
Responsible for continually improving sales education through DCA, GQ, and E-Campus etc.
Exceeds guests expectations ensuring the delivery of the legendary Robbins Brothers experience
Sales Management & Personnel Development
Must assist Management Team in: floor leading, recruiting, training and motivation.
Master the use of the Salesforce and helps the Sales Manager manage other associates use of Salesforce.
Recruits, motivates, mentors and inspires others.
Promotes Perfect Proposals.
Completes E-Campus modules.
Close % and Average Sale
Understands and, accurately tracks Close % and Average Sale.
Strives to constantly improve Close % and Average Sale.
Merchandise Management
Inventory Control to minimize shrinkage.
Specific Needs Assessment to have the right items at
the right time.
Maintain pleasing store aesthetics
Must maximize Gross Profit through smart selling and
smart sales coaching.
Responsible for helping to maintain RBJ Quality control
standards.
Store Profitability
Responsible for assisting in maximizing "other
income."
Store Maintenance
Help maintain established operational guidelines.
Assist in managing store maintenance.
Value Promotion
Understands and nurtures the RBJ Home Office Culture.
Exemplifies Company Values.
Enforces policy of accountability toward those that do not adhere to the company values.
