What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate, Logistics Inbound position at Robert Graham?
Specific Responsibilities
The position of Associate, Logistics Inbound will report directly to the Vice President of Operations and will frequently collaborate with other business groups to ensure goods are effectively delivered. This position will have significant responsibility coordinating and directing the movement of inbound container freight and air shipments for all Robert Graham divisions, spanning multiple DC locations, including direct to customer orders.
- Shared booking process approvals with Production team with our forwarders and factories
- Establish and maintain effective communications with all production and support groups, including outside groups (transportation, custom brokers, customers and suppliers)
- Communicate with appropriate teams on any delivery concerns
- Perform all data entry for shipping document creation and carrier assignment
- Prioritize daily workflow according to company’s needs
- Be proactive and work in advance of incoming receipts
- Run reports to supply visibility to our divisions
- Liaison between our factories and forwarders
- Ensure accuracy of data into A2000
- Ensure our forwarders are following established SOPs
- Document, update, and follow Standard Operating Procedures established to achieve high levels of quality services
- Provides weekly inbound plans to the warehouses
- Creates Weekly Inbound Shipment Reports
- Develop knowledge using provider’s shipping systems such as but not limited to UPS, DHL, and FEDEX
- Understand shipment documents in coordination with compliance
- Resolve ocean and air transit time questions and issues as they arise
- Reviews and keep track of freight invoices verifying rates
- Travel the warehouse as needed
- Run and update reports as needed within various applications
Skills and Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or a related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and experience (3-5 years)
- Experience in Import Supply Chain with an understanding of Import Compliance protocols and HTS codes is preferred
- Must demonstrate understanding of the supply chain and inventory management, including common obstacles and effective solutions
- Advanced data analysis and data visualization competencies preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (primarily Word and Excel)
- Knowledge of A2000 systems preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical problem-solving skills to work with large amounts of import volume
- Ability to work well in both a team environment and individually
- Ability to manage multiple work flows simultaneously
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective time management
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment and in stressful situations
- Excellent customer service and client relation skills

Salary Range: $60,700 - $75,900
